Is Windows 11 "Ghost Spectre" really an improvement for gaming?

I keep seeing people say in various forums that the "super light" version of Win11 titled "Ghost Spectre" is the preferred route for optimal gaming performance on Win11, but is that really true? Usually it seems like stripped down OS's don't meaningfully differ in their performance but as I haven't tested it yet I really don't know. Just wanted to get some insight into this before going to the effort of backing everything up and bothering to install it. Thanks!

I wouldn't run any 3rd party, bootleg OS'es on my main rig purely for security reasons. But hey, if that gives you more control over your system... why not?

A nice program for "debloat" windows when it's installed: ThisIsWin11 I'm using this program to "fix" slow pc's too Disable services and programs you don't need.

That bloat of Windows is more a minor annoyance than a cause of slow-downs for games. All this crap Windows does in background is completely harmless in comparison to e.g. those whacky Dropbox background updates that might even steal fullscreen window focus.

Make a Windows 11 Image That Runs on 2GB of RAM With Tiny11 Builder

Oh! Just remembered, it doesnt come with a browser so youll have to winget firefox (or chrome I guess).

I tried Ghost Spectre. I was impressed with its resource-thriftness. I assume Tiny11 is similar to Ghost Spectre? I will give it a shot.

Downloaded NTDev's TINY11 ISO (along with as much as I could until UUPDUMP again becomes available) and want to give it a try. (Will need to earmark one of my machines and install a blank HDD to give Tiny a try.) BTW, thanks for the tip about Tiny.

Don't see the point. Disk space is relatively cheap. My games take up way more space than the OS.
